Cthia is a concept from the Star Trek fiction series.  It is described as a Vulcan concept, derived from the philosophy of Surak.  Surak's philosophy of logic, reason, and peace is described as having transformed Vulcan from a planet of strife to a cohesive society of beings in harmony with themselves, but also accepting of others.   Understanding and accepting Cthia is the basis of this.  To understand the world, you must see it as it truly is.  Make no mistake: this is a utopian philosophy and ideal, derived from a work of fiction.

I decided to create this page, for two reasons.  First, I am playing with hosting web pages.  This is one of several.  (You might also want to visit Karhide.)  I wanted to have one that I can easily change at will and experiment with.  This is a playground for my fledgeling web editing skills. Second, I find the ideal of Cthia appeals to me.  I believe strongly in trying to see the world as it is.  If you want to change the world, your life, or yourself, you must first see everything as it truly is and then pick the vector you want to follow, to get where you want to be.
